How to Buy, Use, and Transfer Mobile Passes

What is a Mobile Pass?

Mobile passes allow fans to reuse their pass for a predetermined amount of time. Mobile passes can be used for tournament events, sporting season events, or all events (sports, performing arts, etc).  A mobile pass is transferable and reusable pass, whereas a ticket is a one-time use entry for one specific event.

How to Buy Mobile Passes

If an event has mobile passes available to purchase, you can checkout via GoFan.co or on the GoFan app as you would with any other ticket. See our article How to Buy Tickets for Events for more information.

They will then be able to confirm their pass details and Accept the pass, officially transferring it to their account. They can access their pass at any time in the Tickets section of the app.

Can I Cancel or Refuse a Mobile Pass Transfer?

After mobile pass transfer request has been initiated, but before it has been accepted, the original purchaser (transferor) and/or the transferee can cancel the transfer. Once the transfer has been accepted, it cannot be reversed.

When the invitee receives a transfer notification, they can click Decline.
